Ali Siddiqui

Hi! I'm Ali Siddiqui. I'm a Postdoc in the Department of Earth, Environmental and Planetary Sciences at Brown University, working on Arctic sea ice and ocean interactions in Chris Horvat's group. I use a combination of coupled climate models, observations and simple conceptual models to understand the ocean's role in the Earth's climate.

In January 2025, I earned my PhD on salinity variability in the subpolar North Atlantic at Johns Hopkins with Tom Haine.
